Industrial endoscopes, also known as industrial video endoscopes, borescopes or videoscopes - are powerful inspection tools that have become a necessary piece of equipment to promptly find hidden dangers and eliminate them.

While endoscopes are actual medical devices used to view internal organs in a non-surgical way, they can also be a versatile tool for easy non-destructive testing (NDT) and examinations of even the hardest to reach spaces.

The biggest difference between endoscopy for industrial use and other nondestructive testing methods is that it can directly reflect the internal and external surface of the tested object without disassembling the tested body.

The advantages of an Industrial video endoscope are:

  1. The camera head and insertion probe can flexibly pass through narrow gaps, pipes or guide tubes - even passing through multiple bends. The diameter of the camera head and insertion tube can be extremely thin (as small as 2.2mm), and probes are available in a variety of lengths.

  2. Camera head articulation, via joystick, allows for precise camera head positioning to ensure effective inspections.

  3. High-Definition camera ahead options provide ultra-clear images.

  4. Capture and review still images and video on the device – still images and video can then be saved and shared as required.

  5. Dustproof and waterproof. The probe is comprised of wear-resistant tungsten wire and can be used in harsh testing environments.

  6. Ultra-bright illumination. Super bright LED, rear fiber optic lighting, UV lighting, Infrared lighting - there are a range of systems based on specific inspection requirements.

  7. The probe has a hard titanium alloy protective shell. It can effectively protect the lens when passing through rough detection surfaces.
