SROD S3831E Sonar Inspection Robot

The SROD S3831E is an advanced, sonar inspection robot designed for pipelines and infrastructure from 500mm to 6000mm in diameter where high-water-level conditions make traditional inspection methods difficult. With its amphibious design and self-propelled thrusters, the robot glides effortlessly through pipes, culverts, reservoirs, and sewer mains—floating, diving, and manoeuvering without a traction cable.

Equipped with forward and rear-facing HD cameras, ultra-bright LED illumination, and a high-frequency 2.25MHz sonar system, the robot crawler can automatically calculate sediment volumes, identify cracks, deformations, deposits, and intrusions, in low light and murky conditions - without the need for dewatering or diversion with a waterproof rating up to 20m.

The 200m zero-buoyancy cable (extendable to 1000 meters) ensures the camera can perform long-distance inspections without the cable interferring, while advanced depth and cruise control sensors ensure stable, automated navigation.

Easy to set up, simple to operate via a handheld tablet, the S3831E offers the ultimate solution for inspections in high-water-level conditions.
