SROD S450A Amphibious Inspection Robot
The SROD S450A is an advanced amphibious inspection robot built to operate where traditional crawlers cannot. Designed for challenging pipelines, flooded conduits, industrial tanks, and submerged environments, it delivers high-definition imaging, robust mobility, and long-range inspection (starting from 200m as standard up to 1000m) in a single platform.
The HD camera offers 360° rotation, 270° tilt, adjustable high-intensity LED lighting and a one-click defogging function to ensure clear imaging in humid conditions, murky or underwater environments, confined and low-light spaces and pipelines.
Unlike conventional wheeled robots, the S450A robot uses a screw-drive propulsion system, allowing it to manoeuver through sludge, debris and water carrying up to 14kg and climbing to a gradient of up to 15 degrees.
Engineered to last, the amphibious inspection crawler is sealed and the corrosion-resistant housing allows operation in wastewater, seawater, and chemically aggressive environments without degradation.
